Drive Nation: Terms of Use

Version 1, October 2026. The same terms are in the app (Profile, Settings, Terms of Use).

1. Who can use Drive Nation

Drive Nation is for car enthusiasts aged 18 or older. By accepting these terms you confirm you are 18 or older and that you will follow them.

2. What you can post

Your profile and profile picture, your cars and their photos, and events you submit. Later also comments, event photos and ratings. Everything you post must follow these terms.

3. Not allowed

Do not post anything that:

• shows, promotes or organises illegal driving, street racing, spinning or drifting on public roads, or anything else that puts people in danger;
• is hateful, harasses, threatens or bullies anyone;
• is sexual, shows nudity, or shows graphic violence;
• shares someone else's personal details without their permission;
• pretends to be someone else, or another club or business;
• is spam, a scam, or advertising that is not about a car event;
• you do not have the right to share (for example someone else's photo);
• is illegal in South Africa.

People in photos. Only post photos of people who are happy to be in them. If someone asks you to remove a photo of them, remove it. They can also ask us at the contact address below.

4. Events

Submit only real events with correct details. The organiser is responsible for the event: getting permission to use the venue and running it within the law. Drive Nation does not condone illegal driving. You attend events at your own risk.

5. Reporting, blocking and moderation

You can report a member or anything they post, and you can block a member. A member you block is not told, and you will no longer see what they post. Admins review reports. We may hide or remove anything that breaks these terms, reject or cancel events, and restrict or ban accounts. The member you report is not told who reported them.

6. Your content

What you post stays yours. You give Drive Nation permission to show it in the app (and on Drive Nation share pages, once those exist) so the community can see it. You can delete it, or ask us to delete your account (see the Privacy notice).

7. No guarantees

We run Drive Nation as a community service and cannot promise it will always work or that what members post is correct. As far as the law allows, Drive Nation Society is not responsible for loss or harm caused by events, by other members, or by what they post.

8. Changes

We may update these terms. When we do, the app asks you to accept the new version before you post again.
